I went to this restaurant at lunch and discovered a satisfying buffet on the menu. The food was hot and spicy but delicious, and the service staff were friendly. It was pretty much a self serve style but since it is tucked away in a shopping center and quiet inside, it still deserves five stars.

We have been regular customers here for years. The food is always consistent and absolutely delicious. We ordered delivery a few days ago. It arrived much sooner than the estimated time. Piping hot and so good my mouth is watering as I write this. The gentlemen KB I think he goes by was so nice and friendly. Very highly recommended!

Yum! Came in for friend's BDay lunch and tried the buffet. Very good selection of traditional dishes: chicken tikka, paneer, garlic naan, mildly spicy potato samosas, saag, aloo matar, papadum, basmati rice to name but a few of the more than 10 selections. But the standout for me was the goat. SO GOOD! Tender, fall off the bone and perfect amount of spice to add flavor, but not uncomfortable heat. Staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant and bathroom were kept beautifully clean, comfortable and welcoming. My one suggestion would be to add mango chutney to the buffet. My papadums were just a little sad without it. Clearly not THAT big of a deal, since I didn't noticed until 1/2 way through my 2nd plate. I would def return and pay for the $3 chutney side if it's not already a part of the buffet. There's no price listed for the buffet, that I saw, but the receipt shows $15/pp, a very fair price. I'll be back - Cheers! CC

Even though Simi Valley has not more than a handful of Indian restaurants, there are representatives in this class that deserve a visit. One of these eateries is Indian Haweli, on Los Angeles Avenue. It maybe the only Indian cuisine location that has a lunch buffet ($14.99) in Simi. The dining area is small, but well appointed, with simple decor. There was one staff member that was maintaining the area and keeping the food well stocked. That should not be a deterrent. Service was friendly, informative and professional. If anything, some of the lunch buffet items were drying out. So additional assembly of these dishes with more liquid and/or keeping them covered could change the landscape and optics. See my pictures for the offerings. What stood out for me was the two appetizers (Aloo Tikki and Samosas), the latter having a different flavor. There are several selections of chicken and vegetables. Accompaniments are Naan, Rice, Salad, Raita, Chutneys (both Mint and tamarind), pappar and Indian desserts (that include Gulab Jamoo). Wine and beer is also available.

Came today with a friend for lunch right when they opened. There was already a few people there eating. I like to come on Tues and Sunday's because they have curried goat. My favorite! They also had a great eggplant dish. I can never eat more than one plate, but service is always great. Was a nice 1.5 hour lunch to catch up with my friend. Love that it's so close to home too.
